Admission Ceremonies

Chartered Accountants Ireland typically holds several admission ceremonies each year to welcome our new members. Further details on these events can be found here

Is my membership still valid?

The technicalities of your membership are in no way impacted by this cancellation. Your admission to membership is valid regardless of a conferring ceremony or the date of same.

Certificates

Our team will be working full, standard working hours by the usual phone and email contact details and remain available to support you. We may however not be able to access our premises on an ongoing basis, which is dependent on formal advice and guidance. If you request a scanned or hard copy of your certificate, we will endeavour to provide this in as timely a manner as possible but remind you that we may not be able to do so immediately and appreciate your patience in this regard.

We are eager to facilitate everyone through this unprecedented situation. We will update you as further developments arise and also draw your attention to the information page on our website, and our Twitter page where updates will be added as they arise. The conferring ceremonies are a highlight of our year and we know how much they are valued and how significant they are. We are very sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience this may cause but our priority and sincerest wish is that you, your families and colleagues remain safe and well.

Chartered Accountants Ireland admission ceremonies welcome you to membership and we will present with your ACA certificate.

The ceremony is an opportunity to join together and celebrate with your fellow newly admitted members, families and friends as we mark your transition to becoming a world-class business professional.

At the event, you will celebrate being part of the global Chartered Accountants Ireland community of over 24,000 members and will discover the support, connections, and opportunities that this can bring to you and your career.

Certificates will be presented by Chartered Accountants Ireland President and Chief Executive.

Invitations for the autumn conferring will be issued in September 2018. You will be emailed a link and asked to register for your preferred venue and time. Additionally, you can choose to defer attendance to the Spring 2019 ceremony or choose postal delivery of your certificate if you are unable to attend.

We know that you will want to share this celebration with family and friends and hope that you understand that for capacity reasons we must limit this to two guests per new member.
