Neville, the Group Treasurer of Reckitt Group plc, speaks about his experience as
Group Treasurer in a global leading FTSE company.
Overview
Reckitt is a global leader in consumer health, hygiene and nutrition. Reckitt has
Revenues of circa £13bn, over 40,000 employees, operates in 60 countries and
sales in almost 200 around the world.
Simon speaks about his journey
from an Accountant to a Group Treasurer of a world leading FTSE company, where
he successfully managed more than £30 billion of financing related transactions,
including multiple bond issues and share buy backs. He touches on his experience
of managing business during a cyber-attack.
Simon is a valued member of the Reckitt Group’s Finance Leadership
team.
At Reckitt, Simon has developed a value adding group treasury and insurance
function, with the team awarded “Team of the Year” by the Association of
Corporate Treasurers in 2018 and, and “Deal of the Year” for the Mead Johnson
acquisition financing package in 2017.

Biography
Simon NEVILLE is Group Treasurer of Reckitt Group plc. In 2020 Reckitt
reported Q3 revenues of £3.5 billion and has a market capitalization of some £50
billion.
Simon manages Reckitt’s global Treasury and Insurance team, with
additional responsibility for pension funding, and is a member of the Group
Finance Leadership Team and Pension Governance Committee.
Simon has lived
and worked in Hong Kong, Australia, the Middle East and across Europe, and held
senior finance leadership roles in a number of diverse international groups
including the Jardine Matheson Group, TOTAL s.a., Tesco plc and Tullett Prebon
plc.
Simon is a Fellow of both the Chartered Association of Certified
Accountants and the Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds an MBA from
Kingston Business School.
Simon lives in Surrey, and outside work is a
Trustee at Young Epilepsy and a Council Member of the Association of Corporate
Treasurers. He is a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Arts.
