Format
This course will be delivered via
Zoom as a Virtual Classroom from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm on 14 May 2024. The Zoom link will be emailed to participants the day before the course is due to take place.
Who should attend
This session is appropriate for any professional who would
like to invest in their presentation skills.
It will be relevant for people with experience in public
speaking, as well as those who are earlier in their careers.
The nature of the break out groups, coaching conversations and psychological
content means that participants will be able to apply the content to their
specific situations in a relaxed and supportive environment.

- Discovering more about your unique style (using the
theory of sub – personalities and archetypes)
- Learning how to embrace the parts of yourself you may
be reluctant to utilise in a presentation context (using the theory of Shadow)
- Mindset / Nerves and imposter syndrome
- Building clarity on your desired impact
- Creating a narrative
- Short practice
Key outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand more about their unique style, and how to
become more resourceful when presenting.
- Have some practical strategies to develop mindsets
that overcome nerves, and handle unexpected situations (e.g. Q&As)
- Learn practical techniques to crafting a compelling
narrative with clear outcomes.
- Have the opportunity to practice some presenting and receive some feedback
/ coaching.
Speaker Bio
James McSporran is
a Leadership Development Consultant who specialises in sharing the most useful
ideas from psychology, psychotherapy and executive coaching. He works with
Senior Leadership teams across many sectors to help them with their leadership,
team dynamic and build performance. He frequently delivers workshops, keynotes and coaching
sessions in the areas of leadership, team culture, relationship, behaviour and
