About the Film – Crossing the Line

Crossing the Line is a fictional film developed to explore real-world challenges in audit, including:

  • Professional judgement under pressure
  • Ethical dilemmas and conflicts of interest
  • Audit quality and firm culture
  • Governance, oversight and accountability

The film will be shown in four parts, with facilitated discussion and audience interaction throughout.

Event Format

The evening will include:

  • Welcome from Chartered Accountants Ireland
  • Introduction to the film by ICAEW
  • Screening of Crossing the Line (in four parts)
  • Live Slido polling during the screening
  • Reflections from experienced audit professionals
  • Expert panel discussion on ethics, governance and audit quality
