This event will centre on an inspiring, personal, and professionally rich conversation with Nessa McNeela,  CFO of Aer Lingus. The session will explore Nessa McNeela’s career journey, leadership philosophy, and the path that led her to one of the most influential financial roles in Irish aviation.

Alongside her personal story, the discussion will touch on Aer Lingus’s strategic priorities, including fleet modernisation and sustainability, offering attendees a blend of human insight and industry foresight.

Bios

Nessa McNeela is CFO at Aer Lingus, having joined the IAG Group in 2021.  She has 20 years’ experience as a finance professional in the Banking, Technology and Aviation sectors.  She completed her Chartered Accountancy training in KPMG Dublin, before moving to Australia in 2008.  She worked in the Banking sector for 10 years in Sydney, prior to relocating to London in 2018.

Nessa graduated from UCD in 2023 with a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies (European).

Tadhg Enright is a BBC News presenter and communications coach who brings more than two decades of live broadcasting experience to the stage. He works with leaders and organisations to communicate with clarity and impact, and is known for his engaging style, sharp interviewing, and ability to connect audiences with the conversations that matter.
