Minister for Finance interviewed on Budget 2021

Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, was interviewed on RTÉ Radio 1 last Friday. He said that Budget 2021 will be geared towards increasing ‘the ability of all to get back to work quickly’ and while income taxes will not rise, carbon tax will likely go up. He also discussed that it would be difficult to reverse the cuts to the PUP payments and spoke about the European Commission’s decision to appeal the Apple decision.
