Oct 08, 2020

Are you a qualified accountant who would like to expand your skills in the areas of data analytics, SAP and robotic process automation? If so, the MSc in International Accounting and Analytics, Pathway B at NUI Galway is the programme for you.

At NUI Galway, we have responded to recent reports including the ICAS and FRC report on Auditor Skills in a Changing Business World (in 2016) identifying the need for increased data analytic skills among accountants. The MSc in International Accounting and Analytics, Pathway B programme provides opportunities to enhance your data and analytics skillset so that you can apply advanced technologies with ease in a changing business environment.

This is the first programme of its kind in UK and Irish universities and has been nominated as the ‘Best New Postgraduate Programme’ at the GradIreland Awards in November 2019. It was also recently nominated for an upcoming Irish Accountancy Award 2020 in the category ‘Excellence in Education and Training’.

Why is this the programme for you?

This is an ideal Masters programme if you are already a qualified associate member with an IFAC member professional accountancy body (or other body deemed equivalent by the Programme Director) and looking to build your professional qualifications. This unique programme offers, through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), exemption from 50% (45 credits) of the 90 credits to fully exam-qualified accountants who have been admitted to full associate membership of the recognised professional accountancy bodies for this taught Masters course.
