Assistant Accountant - Suit Part-Qualified - Global Tech Organisation

A leading tech/online company is looking for a part-qualified Chartered Accountant or qualified/experienced Accounting Technician to join our Finance team in our Dublin office. This role will report to the Financial Controller (FC).

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly billing.
• Balance sheet verification (Bank reconciliation etc.,)
• Preparation of cash flow forecasting.
• Preparation and review of supplier payments.
• Assisting with the preparation of month-end board reporting packs including the preparation of commentary for management information purposes.
• Management of the Accounts Payable Process.
• VAT – completion of accurate returns and ensuring VAT accounted for correctly on all revenue streams and spend.
• Quarterly VIES reporting.
• Preparation of the Audit file and liaising with external auditors.
• Finance process improvement work.
• Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as and when needed

Job Qualifications:

• Part qualified Chartered Accountant/ Qualified Accounts Technician.
• Experience of Microsoft Great Plains software would be an advantage
• Previous experience in the IT industry is preferable.
• Excellent organisational and accounting skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Self-starter with an ability to work on their own initiative and demonstrate the ability to be a strong team player and work to deadlines
