Ambitious outgoing experienced practice Accountant required for a high quality practice in Kilkenny
Our client is a high quality accountancy practice in Kilkenny. They are looking to hire an experienced outgoing Accountant to join an expanding team of 16 staff. The firm's client portfolio covers a diverse range of clients but predominantly owner managed businesses.
This role will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to join an established practice with a proven track record of successfully developing their staff. They offer their clients a consultative approach and the firm is run in an efficient and modern way using technologically advanced methods. Their offices are bright and modern. The role will offer the successful Accountant a chance to work with and be mentored by approachable, commercially minded Partners. Flexible working hours & conditions would be considered for the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities of the Practice Accountant:
• Manage your own block of clients annually and develop strong client relationships
• Completing audit assignments (40M + Turnover)
• Complete and finalise year-end financial statements including client meetings
• Full involvement in Client meetings
• Personal & Corporate Tax returns
• Company secretarial duties
• Develop strong client relationships
• Deliver client assignments in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
• ACA qualified
• Minimum of 5 years + relevant accounting experience in senior practice position
• Experience working within a practice environment essential
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Logical and keen to learn
• Experience using Relate or Cloud based systems (Surf Accounts) an advantage
