Vacancy- Financial & Project Analyst
We are seeking a Financial/Project Analyst to join our evolving finance team with a gobal plc. client.
Overall scope:
The Financial/Project Analyst is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and documentation of all on going system changes and the rollout of all changes group wide. They will provide guidance and training to local finance departments in relation to industry best practice and strive to create significant efficiencies & cost savings to the business.
Reports to:
Divisional Finance Director
North Leinster.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Divisional Finance Director for Ireland and contribute to the wider group finance function.
• Assist in achieving Group cost synergies
• Report on business performance and monthly analytics with a view to identifying future opportunities
• Introduce business intelligence group wide
• Ensure business needs are provided for and required Sox controls are in place and adhered to.
• Continuous review of manual finance processes and assist in developing automated solutions
• Ensure projects are delivered timely and to the defined quality standard
• Rollout project solutions Group wide
• Provide regular updates on project status, issues, constraints
• Assist in documenting business requirement for any IT system changes
• Plan and lead testing initiatives on business side
• Develop job aides for use across all departments
• Reconciliation of any integrated system transactions
Key Experiences and skills:
• Recently Qualified ACA
• Ability to analyse and clearly present data results
• Strong logic and problem-solving competencies
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in systems and technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strict adherence to Sox requirements.
• Possess excellent project management skills and be able to effectively prioritise multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality work as required.
• Be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment as required.
