Responsibilities:
Maintain control accounts, schedules and reconciliations
Assist in preparation and completion of monthly performance reporting pack for management team
Preparing weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and maintaining weekly forecast cashflow files
Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Assist in preparing financial statements and year end audit process
Completion of monthly management accounts up to Trial Balance.
Prepare initial tax returns for VAT, RCT, CT, for UK and Ireland
Continue to improve internal systems & controls
Utilize accounting software and other financial tools proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate records
Key Competencies
Newly / recently qualified ACA
1-3 years experience post qualification
Experience in construction/ manufacturing industry
Microsoft office experience is essential. Strong IT skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with COINS ERP system an advantage
