Summary of Role
The Education & Training Department of Chartered Accountants Ireland is responsible for the education, training, and assessment of approx. over 6,500 students. The Admissions team is responsible for all student application processes including exemption, enrolment, and all aspects of formal registration.
The Student Relations & Systems Executive role will provide comprehensive support in enhancing the systems for student enquiry handling, application processing, organisation and presentation of online content, and engaging students through social media and other web-based platforms. This role will also be responsible for the oversight and timely processing of all student applications.
Reporting to: Manager, Student Services
Key Responsibilities:
The role of Student Relations & Systems Executive overall responsibilities may vary from time to time, but the main areas of responsibility are as follows:
- Review of current operating systems to ensure that processes are simplified and streamlined as much as possible.
- Investigate, develop, and utilise existing and new IT systems as we move to a more digital environment.
- Support and partake in change implementation processes/initiatives on an ongoing basis.
- Collaboration with other departments to develop synergies in our operations.
- Compilation of annual statistical returns for both regulatory and business requirements.
- Supporting the Admissions team during eligibility and enrolment application periods.
- Management and oversight of all applications from students who are availing of our Flexible Route.
- Management and oversight of all application processes for our large customers.
- Ensuring all GDPR requirements are met.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
The Candidate:
The Student Relations & Systems Executive should have demonstrated experience in a systems administration role and provide best in class customer centric engagement. Experience in the education or professional services sector is preferable.
Accordingly, the following attributes will be fundamental:
- Previous experience working in the Education sector is preferable.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent IT skills that can inform the development of administrative planning and implementation.
- Excellent reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong decision-making skills.
- The ability to exercise, and recognise the need for, discretion and confidentiality with information and documentation.
- Familiar with GDPR requirements.
- Be personally effective, managing priorities and deadlines.
- An adaptable and flexible approach to adjusting priorities in a constantly changing environment
- Be able to multi-task efficiently
- Be a strong communicator and have the ability to calmly diffuse challenging situations.
- Have excellent organizational skills with proven ability
