They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to lead our Non-Audit Department and drive excellence in client service and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager in the Non-Audit Accounting Department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounting operations and providing strategic guidance to both clients and team members. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, understanding their unique needs and providing expert advice and support.Cultivate strong client relationships through regular communication, proactive service delivery and personalised solutions.
Team Leadership and Development
Provide leadership and direction to the Non-Audit Department team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance on technical skills, client management and professional growth.
Financial Analysis and Reporting
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports and other financial analyses, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and provide strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement and Efficiency
Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes, systems, and workflows to streamline operations, improve productivity and deliver greater value to clients.Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and best practices implementation to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
Stay abreast of relevant accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks for clients and the firm.Oversee compliance activities to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;Chartered Accountants Ireland, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
Extensive experience in accounting and particularly in practice.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
Skill Set
Advanced technical skills in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.Strong skills in Irish GAAP, auditing standards and IFRS.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, capable of identifying opportunities and driving initiatives to achieve business objectives.Commitment to upholding professional standards of ethics, integrity and client confidentiality.
