Accountant - Tech Company (Start-up) - Dublin - Hybrid

Our client is a Dublin-based fast-growing international SaaS company looking for a driven, ambitious and highly capable accountant.

The successful candidate will come from a Big 4 background with 1-3 years PQE in industry or as a manager/assistant manager in practice.

This role is newly created and reports reports directly to the CFO. This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in the office.

What you will do:

- Manage day to day accounting activities for multiple international subsidiaries

- Play a key role in an ERP implementation process

- Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory requirements

- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities as needed

- Collaborate with other key stakeholders internally and externally

- Drive process improvements and maintain a system of robust financial control

- Other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by the CFO

Requirements for the role:

- Exposure to SaaS or technology business is a benefit

- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and FRS 102)

- Experience with consolidations and group audits

- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
