We are extremely proud of and thankful for our loyal and generous supporters who helped us raise a huge €5,311 for Pieta House at our annual GAA Lunch on Friday 6 September.  The lunch was a huge success with almost 250 people in attendance. Despite a few changes in the line up of our panel due to the unexpected result in the All Ireland football final the week prior, we ended up with a fantastic group of VIPs who thoroughly entertained us all with tales of their own experiences in the GAA world and their thoughts on the All Ireland final replay between Dublin and Kerry. Check out the photos of the day here!

The rain certainly didn't put a dampener on the Leinster Society as we headed to the Aga Khan Cup in the RDS on Friday 9 August! A big thank you to our members who joined us, as we began the day with a delicious sit down lunch in the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge, before heading over to the RDS to take our seats in the arena. Unfortunately Ireland didn’t win that day, jumping into third place only, but we had our own winners as Rosie Galligan and Leona Lavery deservedly took home the titles of Best Dressed Ladies, with thanks to our generous event sponsors CPL. Tickets are still available for our annual GAA Lunch, sponsored by Bank of Ireland taking place in Croke Park on Friday 6 September. We have a fantastic VIP panel lined up for post match analysis, banter and GAA chat: Jack McCaffrey of the Dublin football team, Richie Hogan of the Kilkenny Hurling team (just don't mention THAT red card!), Marie Crowe, sports journalist and broadcaster and one of the most recognizable female faces/voices in the industry; and  well-known Irish radio and television broadcaster Michael Lyster as our MC for the day. For only €85 a ticket, or €850 for a table of 10, join us for a delicious three course lunch followed by our lively panel discussion from 12.30pm onwards. There will also be some fantastic prizes to be won in our raffle on the day in aid of Pieta House who do amazing work helping people who are in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm. The highly coveted Liam McCarthy and Sam Maguire cups will also be there on the day for photo opportunities.  A day not to be missed! Book now by emailing Leinstersociety@charteredaccountants.ie
