Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society presents The Published Accounts Awards 2018 Gala dinner on 8 November in the stunning Shelbourne Hotel.  This event, which includes a four course dinner, will be hosted by Leinster Society Chairwoman, Lorna Larkin who will be assisted on the night by the hilarious Oliver Callan and his familiar friends!

Who is eligible for PAA ?

Entry is open to all organisations: public and private, State owned bodies, charities and other organisations that publish annual reports and accounts.

For any organisation to qualify, they must meet the following criteria:

  • The company must be registered either in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
  • The company's head office or main operation is situated either in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
  • It has had a significant presence/history in either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.

What are the categories and awards ?

There are 12 awards to be won – eight individual category awards and four overall awards. The overall awards comprise of:

  1. Overall Winner Award,
  2. Best Social Responsibility Reporting Award
  3. Best Branding, Communication & Marketing Award and
  4. Best Digital Reporting Award

The finalists from each category are eligible for consideration for each of the four overall awards.

The 8 individual category awards are outlined in the table below:

1 Large Irish or NI company listed on the Main Securities Market Market capitalisation >€1bn as at annual report date
2 Small/mid-sized Irish or NI company listed on the Main Securities Market Market capitalisation <€1bn as at annual report date
3 Large Irish or NI company – listed on a foreign market only Market capitalisation >€1bn as at annual report date
4 Small/mid-sized Irish or NI company – listed on a foreign market only Market capitalisation <€1bn as at annual report date
5 Enterprise Securities Market company All companies quoted on the ESM
6 Statutory and unquoted companies Semi-state organisations
All private companies
7 Large charities and “not for profit” organisations with charitable status
Total incoming resources> €10M as at annual report date
8 Small/mid charities and “not for profit” organisations with charitable status
Total incoming resources < €10M as at annual report date

What financial period is eligible?

The Annual Report and accounts which qualify for entry for the 2018 Awards are those in respect of a financial period ending during the year to 31 March 2018.

How to enter PAA ?

If your company would like to be considered for the 2018 Published Accounts Awards simply do the following:

  • Fill out and return the Published Accounts Awards 2018 application form along with a soft copy (preferably in pdf format) of your organisation’s Annual Report and accounts to publishedaccountsawards@charteredaccountants.ie 
  • Include any other relevant information such as employee reports or corporate social responsibility information.
  • Alternatively, you may forward 5 hard copies of your organisation’s Annual Report and Accounts to the Leinster Society office, along with the application form.
  • Note : only the documents (whether in hard copy or soft copy format) submitted to us will be considered for the competition.
  • The closing date for receipt of your organisation’s Annual Report and Accounts is Friday 6 July 2018.
