PAA - Published Accounts Awards

Published Accounts Awards - 2024

As well as rewarding excellence in corporate reporting, the PAA continues to recognise companies for their achievements across areas such as sustainability, ESG, diversity, equity & inclusion and branding.

Application Form 2024

Who is eligible for PAA ?

Entry is open to all organisations: public and private, state owned bodies, charities and other organisations that publish annual reports and accounts.

For any organisation to qualify, they must meet the following criteria:

  • The company must be registered either in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
  • The company's head office or main operation is situated either in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
  • It has had a significant presence/history in either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.

What financial period is eligible?

The Annual Report and accounts which qualify for entry for the 2024 Awards are those in respect of a financial period ending during the year to 31 March 2024.

How to enter:

  • Fill out and return the Published Accounts Awards 2024 application form along with a soft copy (preferably in pdf format) of your organisation’s Annual Report and accounts to paa@charteredaccountants.ie
  • Include any other relevant information such as employee reports or sustainability / ESG / DE&I information.
  • In the interest of sustainability, we do not request a hard copy of your annual report. Shortlisted entries, on occasion, may be requested to send one hard copy and we will contact you directly if this is required.

Note: Only documents included in the submission will be considered for the competition

  • Euronext Dublin (Large Cap >€1bn)
  • Company listed on a Foreign Market
  • Statutory or Unlisted Entity (IFRS)
  • Statutory or Unlisted Entity (Non - IFRS)
  • Not-for-Profit - Large
  • Not-for-Profit - Small/Medium
  • Sustainability and ESG Reporting Award – Listed entities
  • Sustainability and ESG Reporting Award – Unlisted entities
  • Branding, Communication and Digital Award
  • Diversity and Inclusion Award – Listed and Unlisted entities
  • Diversity and Inclusion Award - Not-for-profit
  • Overall Winner
Category Eligibility criteria
1 Any Irish or NI company listed on the Euronext Growth All companies quoted on the Euronext Growth
2 Small/Medium Irish or NI company listed on the Euronext Dublin Market capitalisation less than €1bn as at the annual report date
3 Large Irish or NI company listed on the Euronext Dublin Market capitalisation greater than €1bn as at the annual report date
4 Any Irish or NI company listed on a foreign market only Market capitalisation: no threshold
5 Any Irish or NI statutory or unlisted companies Semi-state organisations
All private companies
6 Charities and “not for profit” organisations with charitable status Total incoming resources greater than €10M as at the annual report date
7 Charities and “not for profit” organisations with charitable status Total incoming resources less than €10M as at the annual report date
