Mark Redmond
Mark Redmond is founder and CEO of Redmond Coaching for
Impact, a corporate advisory practice that works with Boards, CEO’s, C-suite
leaders and teams as a strategic advisor and coach. Clients include
organisations in the multinational and domestic business sectors, the education
and not-for-profit sectors, professional services firms and semi-State
organisations.Mark’s previous roles include CEO of the American Chamber of
Commerce Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute and Director with PwC.
A
graduate of TCD and DCU, Mark has served on the Governing Authority of UCD and
National Council of Ibec.Mark’s Government appointments have included the Trade
& Investment Council, the Commission on Taxation and the Investor
Compensation Company Ltd.
Kevin Lynch
As the Head of Consulting at The Information Lab Ireland, Kevin brings over
12 years of experience in data consulting to empower enterprise clients with
actionable insights and strategic advantages. With an MSc in Development
Practice focused on climate change and a BSc in Mathematics, Kevin speciaIises
in delivering and implementing impactful data solutions through a blend of
expert knowledge and practical expertise.
Níall Fitzgerald, FCA. Head of Ethics and Governance, Chartered
Accountants Ireland
Níall brings together technical expertise, experience and insights from his
role with the Institute and his roles as a non-executive director for an Irish
Charity and chair of its governance and risk committee, Trustee for an
occupational pension scheme, co-founder of Chapter Zero Ireland, advisory member
on several global professional accountancy committees/task forces, and Institute
of Banking faculty member with focus on financial service governance, risk,
sustainability, culture and ethics
Lisa Zschunke
Lisa has been working as responsible sourcing manager for Umicore for the
last 2 years. She focuses on environmental & human rights due diligence for
battery materials, especially nickel. Before joining Umicore, Lisa worked for
GIZ (German Development Cooperation) on the traceability & certification of
conflict minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold) with mining ministries in
Central Africa.
She holds a Masters Degree in International & Conflict
Studies from Frankfurt University
Derarca Dennis
Derarca is the Partner responsible for Climate Change and Sustainability
Services for EY Ireland. She has over 25 years of professional experience
including six years based in Brussels and Finland and leads a team of
Sustainability specialists who focus on advising private and listed companies on
Sustainability strategy, Sustainability reporting and Assurance. Derarca advises
across a number of areas of reporting including the TCFD Reporting, the
Corporate Reporting Sustainability Directive (CSRD) and the International
Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) reporting standards.Derarca has been
responsible for leading a range of sustainability assurance and advisory
projects for clients across the in the food, telecommunications, healthcare,
technology, and retail sectors. She specialises in advising clients in the
course of implementing new non- financial reporting standards and sustainability
strategies across their organisations on the impact of these changes may have
across Finance, Operations, HR and other key organisational functions.Derarca is
a graduate of University College Dublin holding a degree in Psychology and a
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland.
Edel Creely
Edel Creely is a business leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years
experience in the Software & ICT Services Sector. As CEO and co-founder of
Trilogy Technologies, Edel built the company into one of the leading IT Managed
Services providers in the Irish market through strategic acquisitions and
organic growth. She successfully led the acquisition of Trilogy Technologies by
Arkphire in 2020.She currently provides NED and Advisory services to scaling
companies, is Chair of IP Telecom, non-executive Director with Auxilion and
Trustee with Ibec. She is also a serving member of Enterprise Ireland’s
Investment Committee.
Edel is a keen advocate for innovative scaling business
in Ireland. She has been President, Chair and Board Member of Ibec and Chair of
the Irish Software Association (Technology Ireland). In 2017 Edel was
Awarded Tech Excellence 'IT Person of the Year' and Technology Ireland ‘Person
of the Year’ in 2020. An engineering graduate of TCD, Edel is also an
accomplished violinist and regularly performs with the Hibernian
Orchestra.
Dr Dorothy Maxwell
Dr. Maxwell has 28 years international experience as a sustainability
professional working with business & government. she is currently Head
of Davy Horizons, the sustainability advisory unit at Davy, Bank of Ireland
Group.
Previous roles include Head of Sustainability at Selfridges Group and
Sanpower Group (UK & China), environmental policy maker at the European
Commission, UK Dept of the Environment and Enterprise Ireland.
She has been Senior Advisor to HRH Prince of Wales International
Sustainability Unit and senior sustainability consultant with Accenture and
Willis Towers Watson. She holds a PhD, MSc in environmental science from
Imperial College London and Diploma in company direction from the IoD. She
is a Board member & Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility
& Sustainability (ICRS) and Central Bank of Ireland Climate
Forum.
Penelope Kenny FCA
Penelope Kenny is an independent non-executive Director and Senior
independent Director and Chair. She is an Irish chartered accountant, chair of
audit committees and RemCos. Insead certified Director IDP-C. SMF 14 and
11. Chartered Banker. Her board memberships include Kroo bank, Crawford Art
Gallery, and EDT limited.
Noreen O’Halloran, Principal, KPMG in Ireland
Noreen is a Principal in KPMG’s Centre of Excellence - Audit Technical and
has over 15 years’ experience across all aspects of audit and assurance
services. She has worked with a wide range of Irish and multinational clients,
and has worked closely with Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Central Bank
of Ireland in the development of guidance for accountants on various regulatory
matters.
Sinead Donovan, Chairperson, Grant Thornton
Sinead is the Chairperson of Grant Thornton and Past President of Chartered
Accountants Ireland. Sinead joined Grant Thornton in 2002 and was admitted to
the partnership in 2005, becoming the first female partner. She specialises in
providing services to multinational companies and is partner in an international
team which services the global needs of these mature and large companies, with
particular regard to central reporting on multiple jurisdictions in Irish
headquarters and/or Shared Service Centres. She was instrumental in founding the
Irish/US Group, which is a permanent department, consisting of an Irish
directors based in the US. This link ensures a seamless service offering between
the Irish and US firms to relevant clients.
Aisling McArdle, Group Head of Primary Market Admissions, Euronext
Dublin
Aisling McArdle is a seasoned finance professional with over twenty five
years of experience in the financial and regulatory industries. Currently, she
serves as the Group Head of Primary Market Admissions, overseeing the admission
to listing and trading of financial instruments on Euronext markets for Equity,
Debt and Funds asset classes
Aisling joined Euronext Dublin in 2002 and has held a variety of roles within
the company. She became Head of Admissions in January 2021, having
previously held the role of Head of Regulation, Dublin & London. Prior to
this, Aisling held a number of positions in Primary Markets handling a wide
range of regulatory, managerial, and operational responsibilities.
Aisling is a Licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in
Ireland. She also serves as a non executive director on the Board of the
Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority, and the Board of Euronext
Securities, Copenhagen. In addition she is a member of the Risk & Compliance
Committee of the Board of Euronext Dublin and is also a member of the ESMA’s
Consultative WorkingService Centres. She was instrumental in founding the
Irish/US Group, which is a permanent department, consisting of an Irish
directors based in the US. This link ensures a seamless service offering between
the Irish and US firms to relevant clients.
Thérèse Moore, Admissions Manager, Euronext Dublin
Thérèse Moore serves as Admissions Manager at
Euronext Dublin, overseeing bond and fund admissions on Euronext markets.
Thérèse joined Euronext Dublin (formerly The Irish Stock Exchange) in 2007 and has worked in several regulatory
roles within the primary markets team. Prior to her tenure
at Euronext, she gained valuable experience in the debt capital markets industry at
JP Morgan and Bank of New York. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Business Studies and French from the University of Limerick and a Diploma
in Finance Law from the Law Society.
Kalpna Kothari-Henry
Kalpana Kothari is an experienced Director of Ethics &
Compliance having previously worked for Williams Lea Tag and Royal Mail, having
moved industry sectors after 20+ years in financial services working in banks,
insurance providers and wealth management companies. On joining Dentsu in 2018,
Kalpana became the regional lead for 46 countries within the Europe, Middle East
and Africa (EMEA) region, building both a compliance team and a network of
compliance advocates to raise the visibility and engagement with the ethics and
compliance programme
