Speaker Bio

Emer Kellyis Practice Regulation Manager with Chartered Accountants Ireland and works within the Institute's Professional Standards Team. As part of her role Emer has responsibility for AML policy matters.

Tom Murray, Director Friel Stafford. Tom qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 1997 and today is an experienced professional accountant with strong financial and senior management skills developed in national and international businesses He is one of Ireland's most experienced corporate recovery and turnaround practitioners and was one of the first personal insolvency practitioners licensed in Ireland. Tom is heavily involved with the accountancy profession and is a past President of ACCA Ireland. He is currently a council member of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He is formally a member of ACCA's global council (it's governing body) and sat on their Governance Design Committee, Resource Oversight Commitee and Standards Board. He also was a council member for CPA Ireland.

Joanne Sweeney, CEO Digital Training Institute Ltd - Joanne Sweeney is a prominent figure in the public sector, specializing in digital marketing and communications. She is the CEO of the Public Sector Marketing Institute and the host of the award-winning Public Sector Marketing Show podcast. Joanne is also the author of "Public Sector Marketing Pro," which has been described as a valuable resource for government agencies. She has a background in journalism, public relations, and digital marketing, and she holds multiple academic and professional qualifications, including Master's degrees in Journalism and Digital Marketing. Joanne is known for her expertise in AI literacy, media literacy, misinformation resilience, and digital transformation across public services. She is a four-time author and has developed a CPD-accredited Professional Diploma in AI for Public Sector Marketing. Joanne's work focuses on empowering leaders and communications professionals to leverage AI responsibly and effectively, ensuring transparency, trust, and tangible results.
