To mark the launch of its new position paper, An Empowered Profession – AI and the Future of Accountancy, the Institute is hosting this Chartered Roundtable event.
The event will feature Deputy Malcolm Byrne
TD , Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on AI, who will share insights into the government’s approach to AI policy, regulation and supports, and what this means for businesses, professionals and the wider economy.
Institute CEO Rosemary Keogh will present an overview of the position paper and host a Q&A discussion with Deputy Byrne. The session will focus on the impact of AI on the accountancy profession, its role in driving economic transformation, and the importance of aligning public policy with professional leadership.
