It has been announced that the second UK-EU summit will be held next month on 22 July in Brussels and the House of Lords European Affairs Committee recently heard evidence on parliamentary scrutiny of UK dynamic alignment with EU rules.
Last week, the House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee published its report on 'Cultural touring in the EU' with Committee Members calling on the Government to work with the EU to break down barriers to touring and to boost domestic support for performers. The House of Lords Northern Ireland Scrutiny Committee also recently held the first oral evidence session of its inquiry into ‘Article 2 of the Protocol/Windsor Framework’.
