  • A reminder that the deadline for filing a company/society’s data online with the Register for Beneficial Owners is Friday, 22 November 2019.  Failure to comply with these requirements is a breach of statutory duties and a criminal offence which is subject to sanctions. 


  • The full programme for the EFRAG conference on IFRS & Regulation taking place on 28 November in Brussels has been released with registration now open online.


  • The IFRS Foundation has released the October 2019 podcast covering recent developments in IBOR, dynamic risk management, financial instruments with characteristics of equity and business combinations under common control.  Each month, after the meeting of the International Accounting Standards Board, the Foundation produces a podcast.
  • The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation invite applications from suitable candidates to fill a new vacancy on the IFRS Interpretations Committee.
  • The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, has published three sets of technical advice to the European Commission (EC) regarding third-country central counterparties (TC-CCPs) under the revised European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR 2.2).
