  • The Department of Justice and Equality has recently published its Annual Report on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing which provides details on Ireland’s response to Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in 2018 taking into account: the legislative regime; international dimensions; the regulatory framework; enforcement; and supervisory authorities.


  • The FRC has written to the UK’s largest audit firms setting out the regulator’s expectations for operational separation to bring about audit quality improvements and audit market resilience.


  • Accountancy Europe (AE) seeks input on the proposed approach to company categorisation from regulators and other interested stakeholders.
  • AE have issued their Sustainable Finance Update for February which features EU & International Developments.
