An exciting opportunity to join the Management Team of a top aircraft leasing company. Based in Dublin, the role has a broad remit including managing the IT and Facilities Management teams, Document Management, Branding and Communications, Event Management and Operations Projects.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer you will be:

A member of the Management Team, Head of Operations will work with other Team Leads on cross functional and operational initiatives and change programmes
Managing and further developing a highly motivated Operations Team to deliver excellence across all areas including Document Management, Branding and Communications, Event Management, Facilities Management, IT and Operations Projects
Ensuring that core systems and services provided anticipate and support the strategic direction of the business
Manage several cross functional projects at once, across property development, systems development and platform improvement, process improvement, reporting, and ad hoc initiatives
Provide support and guidance to team members participating in cross functional projects
Oversee the Operations budget and work with the finance team on forecasting future expenditure
Drive for best in class support from vendors and act as point of escalation for any issues as they arise

Prerequisite Core Skills and Knowledge Required:

5+ years experience working in a senior operations role, preferably in an aircraft leasing company but not essential
Strategic thinker within the operations environment with an ability to see the bigger picture, identify potential issues and provide solutions
Proven ability to manage and develop a team within a dynamic environment
Track record in delivering ambitious projects and managing multiple priorities with a high level of accountability for results
Experience in process development and improvement
Ability to evaluate software systems appropriate for use in the business, and work with providers to adapt/design to meet business needs
Strong interpersonal skills, able to create and maintain excellent relationships with key external and internal teams
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
Solutions driven attitude and comfortable making decisions which are aligned with and supportive of the organisation culture
