Newly Qualified Accountant– Chartered Accountancy Firm based in North Dublin

One of our firms is a two-partner practice employing thirty staff located in North Dublin. The practice has a broad range of clients; however, we do specialise in Medical Practices. Most of our clients are in the Meath/Dublin region but we do have a substantial number around the country.
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with a strong practice background to fill a Senior role.
What you will be doing:
• Preparation of Working Papers & Financial Statements in accordance with Relevant Procedures &Standards
• Conduct audits in accordance with auditing principles for a broad range of clients
• Preparation of Tax Returns both Corporate & Personal
• Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal
• Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
• Carry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner
• Achieve fee targets for assigned portfolio
• Prepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients
About you:
• circa 3+ years general accounting practice experience
• ACA qualified
• An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
• Practical Tax Return Preparation Experience
• Advanced computer skills preferably in Surf Accounts Production/Relate Accounts Production or other similar type financial statements package, 2) Revenue on-line service 3) Excel & Word 4)
• Payroll package would also be useful
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
• Leadership skills with an ability to supervise
• Excellent attention to detail and with an ability to use initiative and always maintain confidentiality
