Maynooth University

Exemption criteria - Bachelor of Business Studies in Business & Accounting

To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1), candidates must achieve a minimum of a 2.ii honours degree. A clear pass without compensation in all relevant subjects is required. Details of criteria are available from the university.

(Average of 50% with not less than 40% in each module)

AC152 Financial Accounting 1 (Minimum mark of 40% required)
AC151 Introduction to Accounting (Minimum mark of 40% required)
Taxation AC207 Personal and Business Taxation (Minimum mark of 50% required)
