European Parliament public hearing on the VAT Reverse Charge Mechanism

May 18, 2026

On Tuesday, 2 June 2026, the European Parliament Subcommittee on Tax Matters will host a public hearing to evaluate the impact and future of the Reverse Charge Mechanism in combatting VAT fraud.

The subcommittee will also discuss the draft report on the EU’s approach to corporate tax policy in a changing international environment.
