On 11 June the Ulster Society hosted a Legal Series webinar in partnership with A&L Goodbody examining the 'Good Jobs' Employment Rights Bill. In this webinar Aisling Byrne of A&L Goodbody looks at what the key employment law changes will be when the Bill is implemented.
The Good Jobs Employment Rights Bill in Northern Ireland aims to modernise employment law, aligning it more closely with Great Britain and enhancing worker protections. Key changes will include stronger rights for flexible working, improved protections against unfair dismissal and discrimination, and changes to terms of employment, including zero-hour contracts. The bill also addresses family leave, trade union law, and enforcement of labour market rules.
