Control of Cases for Insolvency Practitioners

The Institute’s Insolvency Committee has recently published Technical Alert 01 2026 Control of Cases for Insolvency Practitioners. 

This guidance paper notes that insolvency appointments are taken in a personal capacity by Insolvency Practitioners. It discusses decision making, managing risk, delegation and control of appointments.
