FP&A Manager - Financial Services - Dublin City Centre - €60k - €80k
Our client is an independent finance company operating in the asset finance sector in Ireland. The group employs circa 70 staff through the Republic of Ireland and is head quartered in Dublin. The company continues to grow and expand into new market segments and has recently completed the public securitisation of its loan Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director and Working in conjunction with the Finance Manager and the general finance team you will be responsible for:
• The preparation and consolidation of Budgets, forecasts, integrated financial modelling of various group companies and subsidiaries
• Preparation of monthly forecast and budget reports providing analysis and commentary across the various business segments
• Prepare and maintain monthly run rate cash flow forecasts for the necessary business units
• Support Various business teams when new business opportunities are identified and ensure financial impacts are built into planning and forecasting
• Design, develop and document complex business models, both for existing business and in evaluation of potential business opportunities
• Carry out relevant analysis of business models/ opportunities and have an ability to present findings clearly both in writing and orally
• Support in the preparation of consolidated statutory financial accounts and the implementation of accounting standards, notes and disclosures.
• Meet ad hoc demand of the Group Finance and operations director and the board.
Experience Required:
• Chartered Accountant with 3 + years PQE in Financial Services Industry
• Proficiency in MS Office specifically advanced Excel, and also intermediate word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical problem solving and modelling skills
• Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
• Highly organised and able to multi task and handle pressure
• Excellent presentation and report writing skills with ability to present to board level
• You will be required to work to tight deadlines in a project driven environment.
• An understanding of corporate finance structures, securitisations, and an ability to read and interpret complex legal documents would be required.
• Experience in the leasing/Hire Purchase market would be a distinct advantage.
