Our closely partnered client is a major energy provider in Ireland seeking newly qualified ACA additions to their centralised Finance Operations function.
The positions offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work as part of a large finance team in the Accounting & Reporting area with a variety of projects to get involved in.
The teams in this area are responsible for financial accounting & treasury accounting for the Group and Business Units.
This role will report to the Group Accounting and Reporting Manager and will be based in Dublin Head Office
Rapid promotion and internal movements to other divisions is a strong feature of this role as your career grows.

Key Responsibilities
Period close, consolidation and reconciliation activities at Group and Business Unit level.
Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and Group annual and interim report.
Co-ordination of the annual audit process, engagement with external auditors and delivery of outputs to key internal andexternal stakeholders as required.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and customers including corporate, financial planning & analysis, business units and external auditors.
Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and various projects within the Accounting & Reporting function.
Providing technical accounting support to Corporate and Business Units.
Monitoring accounting (IFRS), technical and commercial developments and advising on their impact on the financial closeof the Group.
Partnering with the Business on accounting related matters.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
Newly qualified/1+ year PQE ACA
High level of technical accounting competency and strong analytical skills.
Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong IT skills - knowledge of SAP would be preferable.
