Key Responsibilities
• Manage a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service and compliance.
• Act as the main point of contact for client queries and relationship management.
• Oversee preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT, PAYE and other filings.
• Review work prepared by junior team members to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
• Provide support, coaching and mentorship to trainees and junior staff.
• Ensure deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate records of chargeable time and contribute to billing and recovery.
• Represent the firm professionally at all times in both conduct and appearance.
Requirements:
• Fully qualified ACA.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a public practice environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects independently.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accountancy software.
