Our client is currently recruiting for a Tax Specialist to join our Group Tax Department based in Dunmurry, N. Ireland.
Key responsibilities for the Tax Specialist role include but are not limited to:
• Managing the group’s UK tax affairs, including corporation tax compliance and monthly VAT returns.
• Preparation of IFRS tax accounting schedules.
• Supporting cross-border transactions.
• Preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
• Liaising with and supporting the group’s network of UK & overseas finance teams on tax related matters.
• Assisting with merger & acquisition activities as well as group reorganisations.
• Continuous development of skills and staying current with tax legislative changes and industry standards.

About You:
Essential criteria:
• Educated to university degree, or vocational equivalent.
• The ideal candidate should be a corporate tax specialist with relevant post qualified tax experience (ACA).
• Knowledge and experience of the UK corporation tax regime is essential whilst experience of international taxation, indirect taxes (VAT) and employment taxes would be desirable.
• Strong project management and tax technical skills will be required, combined with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
• The role will require the candidate to work independently and as part of a team across a range of disciplines.
