Trusted Business Leadership

Advance your career with world-class education from a leading internationally ranked business school, delivered in partnership with Ireland’s largest professional body.

The Chartered Accountants Ireland Executive Leadership Programme developed and delivered in partnership with Queen's Business School, ranked in the top 1% of business schools worldwide, empowers you to lead with confidence as a trusted business leader, building dynamic and adaptable teams, through times of change and turbulence.

This programme is designed specifically for Chartered Accountants and other professionals aspiring to leadership or management roles. It also supports those navigating organisational change and team development.

This programme designed to build your leaderships toolkit, to equip you with the capabilities, skills, and insights necessary to navigate the complexities of today’s world. It fosters a forward-thinking approach to leadership, grounded in trust and resilience.

The programme interweaves three core leadership themes:

Gain the skills to lead with confidence

  • Achieve greater levels of self-awareness and confidence to support your leadership growth and effectiveness.
  • Build, strengthen, and align your relationships across the organization, to more effectively manage disruption and enhance leadership in a volatile world.
  • Gain an enhanced set of tools and knowledge to enable you to lead with your ‘head up’, spotting opportunities and meeting challenges.

Build a network of leaders

Commencing February 2026, the programme is delivered through a blend of engaging in-person and online sessions. In-person sessions will take place in Belfast in Queen’s Business School and in Dublin at Chartered Accountants House.

An online learning management platform will provide access to pre-reading, slides, and required course materials before and after each session.

The programme begins with an immersive two-day leadership experience, delivered on-campus at the executive education suite in Queen’s Business School, by Dr. Louise O’Meara. Participants will receive a completion certificate from Queen's Business School.

One night’s accommodation and hospitality is included for the night of day one of the programme, when a programme welcome dinner will take place post that day’s course.
