CASSI

Welcome to CASSI

The Chartered Accountants Student Society of Ireland is your society and our society. As representatives of the student body, we’re here to support each other on our journeys to becoming Chartered Accountants through good times and bad.

Barden Banner V2-min

All of us might need some help from time to time, whether it’s information, a listening ear, access to networks and more. As a society, CASSI liaises with the Institute and CA Support to secure and inform of resources available to students. In line with the Institute’s and CASSI’s focus, work-life balance is always in focus. We have an ongoing emphasis on mental health and all aspects of wellbeing: physical, emotional and mental.

CASSI are active in arranging events with a range of topics and themes and always welcome hearing from you directly. These events can be at an overall CASSI level or regional, so we hope to be able to include everyone. We encourage and invite you to link up with us on our social media platforms for the latest updates. CASSI love to hear from you directly – your voice and engagement is always heard and truly valued.

Our current Chair is Emma Noonan. Formerly CASSI’s Education Officer, Emma has great experience with all aspects of student life, having built relationships over the past year in this role. She has been elected to the role of Chair for the year and is committed to representing and advocating for the full student body. Having been involved in the society in this capacity, Emma now intends to use her position as Chair to really action feedback and to continue to invite and initiate more interaction.

Emma is a CAP2 student herself and 2nd year associate in Risk Consulting at KPMG: so well placed to understand the highs and lows of the route to Chartered Accountancy.

For Emma, there are two main goals during her term as Chair and your support and involvement are welcomed. These are to add value to the student’s Chartered Accountancy journey through a combination of social and educational events and secondly, to engage with the Institute regularly to ensure students’ input forms an integral part of the Chartered Accountants Ireland strategy at all times.

To keep in touch and get on board, follow us. We always love hearing from you.
