Get involved

We would love for you to get involved with the student societies. All of the necessary information on our committee positions are below. If you're interested in becoming involved in any of the committees and running for a position, or just want to see what it's all about, email CASSI.

Why join?

Joining the student societies gives you the opportunity to meet a number of students not only from your region but across Ireland as well. You will also learn transferable skills such as communication, event management, preparing annual budgets and leadership, all of this comes together to make joining the student societies an enjoyable and useful learning experience - and most importantly it's great craic!

What committee should I join?

Chartered Accountants Student Society Ireland (CASSI)

The purpose of CASSI is to table the feedback from all of the regional societies across Ireland at the CASSI quarterly meetings and escalate this to the Institute. We work closely with the Institute and the regional committees to ensure a student perspective is being brought to the Education table. The largest event we hold is our annual CASSI Weekend Away, held each year around October. This is an opportunity to organise a large scale event, budget accordingly and have great craic getting to know students from across Ireland. The CASSI AGM is typically held in February each year, we will notify you via email of the exact date and time.
