Format

This session will be delivered via Zoom on 25 September from 9:30am to 1pm. The Zoom link will be emailed to participants the day before the course is due to take place.

This course will follow the Virtual Classroom format. The online interactive live sessions will utilise the functionality of our online learning platform and will be an engaging, collaborative manner of learning. This session will not be recorded, and therefore attendance is required.

Who should attend

This course is suitable for those that want to understand the threat of ransomware and learn more about how to protect themselves and their organisations.

Course overview

  • Understand threat landscape Learn who the threat actors are and why they might target you.
  • Understand how technical and operational resilience measures effectively combine.
  • Lay the groundwork for effective incident response.

  • Create an action plan of works to be done to enhance cyber resilience.

Speaker Bios

Lockdown Cyber Established in 2020, we are a boutique cyber security firm, which offers a large portfolio of cyber security technology and consultancy services, placing best of breed technologies, innovative solutions and industry leading consultants into a variety of different cyber security projects across both the public and private sectors. Lockdown is also FCA approved as an introducer into the Cyber Insurance market and features on Gcloud14, the approved UK Government procurement framework.


Craig Kennedy was formerly a Partner in the world’s largest law firm and, thereafter, Head of Cyber Risk at one of Europe’s leading digital transformation and cyber security consultancies.
During his time there, he delivered the cyber crisis management training for the world’s largest infrastructure project and cyber exercises for several organisations operating critical national infrastructure both nationally and internationally.
His team also led a project alongside the European Space Agency which focussed on the cyber resilience of satellite communication networks.
He has over 18 years experience of advising some of the world’s leading brands on cyber security before and after cyber crises.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security
