Chartered Accountants Ireland North West volunteer committee works collaboratively with Chartered Accountants Ireland and key regional stakeholder groups to support and connect members across the North West. Through a programme of locally delivered CPD events, technical briefings, and social and networking opportunities, the society helps members remain professionally informed, connected and locally supported.
In partnership, the Institute and the local committee build and maintain relationships with second and third-level education providers and regional business representative bodies, including Chambers of Commerce.
This collaborative approach helps profile the Chartered Accountancy profession within the regional business and education landscape, while strengthening peer connections and professional networks at a local level.
The society also offers a range of social and family-friendly events, creating informal opportunities for members to engage, build relationships, and stay connected at every stage of their career. Through these combined professional and social activities, the society maintains a strong and visible presence across Sligo, Mayo, Donegal, Roscommon, and Leitrim.

The society is run by a committee elected every year at the AGM and a student representative. The society strives to represent the major areas of employment in which the members in the region currently work in.
