Exemption criteria - BSc in Economics and Accounting

To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1), candidates must achieve a minimum of a 2.ii honours degree. Candidates must meet the criteria and have a clear pass without compensation in all relevant college options in order to qualify for individual subject exemptions. Details of criteria are available from the university.

Financial Accounting Average of 50% with no less than 40% in:
ACC3010 Advanced Financial Accounting
ACC2004 Financial Accounting
AC1001 Introductionary Financial Accounting (previously Introductory Accounting I)
Taxation ACC3012 Taxation (Minimum mark of 50% required)
Law for Accountants Average of 50% with no less than 40% in:
ACC3024 Law of Business Organisation
ACC1005 Introduction to Legal Study & Basic Contract Law
