Exemption criteria - Masters in Accounting or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting
To claim exemptions from any part of CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1), candidates must achieve the award of Masters in Accounting or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting; and a mark of not less than 50% in the key modules set out below. Exemptions are awarded on a subject-by-subject basis. We will accept a 50% average across the 2 papers in Management Accounting and 2 papers in Financial Accounting based on equal weighting across the modules in each subject area outlined below. The required experience for qualification will be dependent upon the number of exemptions secured.
