Tony Farmar

Tony Farmar

Tony Farmar began his career in a medium-sized City of London accountancy firm, before joining Macmillan the book publishers. He has lived in Ireland since 1977, working in various publishing environments, before setting up A & A Farmar Book Publishers with his partner in 1992. Since then he has written and published numerous books about Irish social and business history, including a history of Craig Gardner. His last book was The History of Irish Publishing. Tony sadly passed away in December 2017.
