* Chartered Tax Adviser *

Due to continued growth in our business, we are now seeking an ambitious Qualified Chartered Tax Adviser. You will be responsible for overseeing tax operations within the business. The tax business within client primarily involves preparing client tax returns under various tax headings, discussing the tax return outcome with the client, and liaising with revenue commissioners to ensure returns are completed on time. In addition, you may be involved in providing strategic tax planning and structuring tax advice for our more complex client arrangements. The role involves liaising internally with management and other team members, as well as externally with client staff and management. There will be a requirement for you to develop the broader tax offering as part of this role and strengthen the Team capability as our business expands.

Main duties & responsibilities

Overseeing the tax operations within business to include
Preparation of computations and filing of returns under various tax headings including:

- Corporation Tax
- VAT
- Income Tax
- CGT
- PAYE

Ensuring all ancillary compliance reporting requirements relating to the above are completed on time.
Developing Strategic Tax advice as required and advising on appropriate tax structuring for client business needs.
Identifying opportunities for broadening tax services provided to existing clients.
Enhancing and developing the wider CFO Services Tax offering to ensure it grows in line with the Company strategic objectives.

 
What we need
- Qualified AITI / CTA (Irish Tax Institute) with minimum of 2 years PQE
- Ability to keep abreast of changing tax regulation framework.
- Ability to undertake tax research relating to tax technical queries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Excel & Word required.
- Effective communicator - internally and externally with clients.

- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
