About the Job
You’ll work on a variety of audit, accounting and tax assignments and for a range of clients based from their office in Dublin 2
Key Responsibilities
· Preparing accounts for audit client, audit exempt companies, sole traders and partnerships
· Assisting with audit assignments from planning to completion
· Preparing personal income tax returns and corporation tax returns
· Assisting with a portfolio of clients across a variety of tax heads (income tax, Corporation tax, VAT, RCT and PAYE)
· Overseeing work of trainees / junior team members and assisting them with on-the-job training.
Experience/Requirements
· Ideally a newly qualified accountant with audit experience in a mid-sized or small accounting firm looking to further their career;
· The person should have an interest in developing their experience in audit and tax be eager to develop trainees;
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong team player;
· Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative;
· Ideally candidate will have full drivers licence and be available to travel within Leinster for audit assignments as required (not essential)
· Experience with Bright Accounts Production and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word an advantage
