We are seeking to hire a Qualified Accountant in our Waterford City office.
Full time hours: 37.5 hrs per week (in office work only).
Working hours are Monday- Thursday 8.30am to 5pm
Friday 8.30am-2pm.
Full time/part time role open to discussion for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered as required and in a timely manner
Experience of preparing and/or reviewing of VAT, PAYE, income tax & corporation tax returns.
Liaise with clients on queries relating to Revenue requirements, Companies Registration Office (CRO) filings, and Irish GAAP/FRS 102/FRS 105
Preparation and review of financial statements
Compliance with Irish tax legislation, filing deadlines, and regulatory standards.
Excellent knowledge of BRIGHT Accounts Production , AUTOENTRY ,SAGE
Candidate Profile:
Resident of Ireland
Minimum 4 years experience in an Irish Accounting practice (Essential)
Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients on your portfolio
Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative
Strong organisational and time management skills
Committed to obtaining a professional qualification
Be a natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks and focus on meeting deadlines
Experience of working on audit assignments desirable
