Our client is a small estate agency in South Dublin seeking a financial Controller and business advisor around 1 day per week.
PART TIME FC – Estate Agents – South Dublin – Circa 1 day per week
PART TIME FC required for a small estate agency based in South Dublin.
Report to the owner-manager.
Experienced FCA perhaps semi-retired or retired, who may be interested in a flexible part-time role rather than a full-time position.
The role would be an oversight role rather than a day-to-day bookkeeping position, as we already have a bookkeeper who looks after the daily entries on the system. Ideally, the person would be able to oversee the finance function, effectively acting in a part-time financial controller/finance director capacity, without taking on any direct operational responsibilities.
The duties would likely include:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Review of bookkeeping entries and reconciliations
• Strategic business advisory to Owner Manager
• VAT returns and related compliance
• Payroll oversight
• Cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Review of debtor and creditor positions
• Liaising with our external accountants as required
• General financial reporting and advice
• Assistance with improving financial processes and controls
Knowledge of Xero accounting software would be a preference for the role.
Day rate or pro-rata annualised, depending on circumstance.
