Chartered Tax Consultant™

Why you should study this programme

As the only tax credential designed specifically for accountants, our Chartered Tax Consultant™ programme addresses the topics more general qualifications can neglect - and takes just 12 months to complete in full. By completing the programme, you will join an elite cohort of tax professionals spread across business, practice, and the public sector.

The designation ‘CTC’ tells clients and employers that you are:

 • A confident tax planner with sharp analytical skills

• Able to read, analyse, interpret, and apply legislation effectively

• A creative and independent thinker when faced with complex tax scenarios

• Equipped with the consultancy and advisory skills to work comfortably with a range of clients, from individuals and internal teams to large multinationals

Programme content and structure

Taught over 12 months, CTC is delivered with the working professional in mind. You will learn in a practical way through interactive case studies to apply your new skills immediately. Our tutors and facilitators are working tax professionals and subject matter experts. We teach using legislation. You will develop a strong knowledge of tax law and will become adaptable and solutions-focused for your clients and team.

Participants consistently describe the small-group case studies as the most valuable and enjoyable element of the programme, allowing you to practice your consultancy skills, test your learning and activate your new knowledge with your peers.
