This course is ideal for accountants who need to create efficient, professional presentations and reports. It teaches how to leverage AI tools within Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Copilot, and ChatGPT) to automate tasks, enhance data visualizations, and streamline reporting. Accountants can save time on repetitive tasks, use AI for content preparation and design, and generate impactful presentations that are clear and visually appealing. No prior AI experience needed, but familiarity with Microsoft 365 is expected.

- Introduction to AI – Current state of AI, what's required to leverage it effectively and future trends.
- AI Fundamentals – Practical examples, basics of prompt engineering and understanding AI's limitations.
- AI-Assisted Content Preparation – Using AI for faster, more accurate research, summaries, key point extraction, tone adjustment and PDF content retrieval.
- Data Preparation with PowerQuery – Importing, cleaning, normalising, deduplication and handling missing information.
- AI for Dashboards & Infographics – Turning raw data into compelling stories with AI-driven insights.
- Dashboard Essentials – Understanding KPIs, pivots, charts, Top-N analysis, slicers and storytelling elements.
- Data Visualisation Techniques – Using AI to recommend content, create pivots/charts and build dashboards step-by-step.
- Advanced Charting in Excel with AI – Preparing data, layering multiple views, creating nested donuts, formatting and removing clutter.
- Microsoft 365 Visualisation Features – Leveraging AI with icons, shapes, morph transitions, animations, content linking and exporting to PDF.
- AI-Powered Presentation Creation – Integrating Excel, PowerPoint and Word with AI to produce polished, professional presentations.

All Participants Should Please Note the Following
- Software Setup Required: Participants should have a Microsoft 365 subscription, but
supported older desktop versions are workable.
- ChatGPT Account: Prior to the course, all participants should register for a
free account on ChatGPT so they can complete the hands-on exercises.
- Microsoft Copilot:
Participants should also have a Microsoft account to log in to
https://copilot.microsoft.com/
and should do this prior to the course.
- Two Monitors Recommended:
Allows better viewing of the trainer's screen and relevant Microsoft 365 application or AI site.
If you only have a single screen, please inform us prior to the course.
