Don Anderson
Don Anderson has been a network television reporter for BBC Television News based in London, and was the first programme controller of Downtown Radio and then Head of Radio in BBC Northern Ireland. He is past chair of the Royal Television Centre in Northern Ireland, a past president of the Northern Ireland Council of the European Movement, a member of one of the cross-border bodies (Food Safety Promotion Board) and a governor of Lagan College. He is a Visiting Professor of the University of Ulster Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. His previous publications include Heatshield, a novel (Pan Books, London), and 14 May Days, a history of the UWC strike (Gill & Macmillan, Dublin).
