Recounting draws on archives of minutes, photographs, letters and newspaper clippings collected by the Ulster Society over its first 100 years, as well as the personal testimony of members.
The book highlights important moments and events throughout the years showing the role that Chartered Accountants played in the growth of the local economy through what was undoubtedly a turbulent century for Northern Ireland.
With a membership of over 3,000, the Society is more active than ever, both in providing events and services for its members and in contributing to local life. Recounting is a celebration of the Society's achievements and a motivation for successes to come in the next 100 years.
