This course aims to help you master Irish and UK GAAP to support you confidently navigating the critical year-end process. It has been developed for those new to the frameworks, or wishing to upskill on the most recent changes.

Get ready to dive deep into the latest versions of FRS 102 and FRS 105 with this course. Combining pre-reading, in person and on-line lectures, case studies, and practical examples, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to apply these vital changes with confidence. Plus, a final case study assignment will test your mastery and ensure you are fully prepared to lead your finance team into the future of financial reporting.

Content overview

There will be a combination of pre-reading, case studies, on-line content, live lectures and a final case study assignment as part of this course. There will be 5 live lectures (4-6pm).

The five modules are:

3. Financial instruments and other topics
4.Separate and group financial statements
5. Case study assignment preparation
