Take a look at forthcoming online HMRC events.  HMRC ask that people register at least five minutes before a digital meeting is due to start.

Agent toolkits and you: covering the benefits of using toolkits to help reduce errors when completing your clients’ tax returns, there will be a live demonstration and the opportunity to give feedback to aid the development of the service. HMRC will not be answering technical tax questions in this meeting.

Wednesday 15 November - midday to 1pm: Register now

The new Trusts Registration Service: this session will explain how to register an estate using the new Trusts Registration Service. It will also provide the latest information on registering new and existing trusts.

Friday 17 November -  midday to 1pm: Register now

Agents Forum and the role of the Issues Overview Group: this session will provide information about the operation of the online Agent Forum and the Issues Overview Group, which is made up of representatives of the Professional Bodies.

Tuesday 21 November - 1pm to 2pm: Register now

Business expenses for the self-employed: this meeting is to provide guidance on what is and isn’t classed as an allowable business expense and will include motoring and premises costs.

Wednesday 29 November - midday to 1pm: Register now

Paying HMRC – what’s changing: You won’t be able to pay HMRC at the Post Office from 15 December 2017.  Please join the meeting to find out about all the alternative electronic payment methods that are available.

Monday 27 November - midday to 1pm: Register now

Any questions that arise after this time should be submitted during the live meeting. The organiser will run through how to ask questions on the day.
